My 95 Auto GLE is about to turn 147k. The outer joints on both CV axles are shot, but other than that no problems. I plan to replace the axles when I replace the struts and springs, in a month or two.

176,000 and counting. Only thing I relaced was the cv axles, knock sensor (previous owner used regular), and suspension (lowering). These cars last forever.

161k and counting. I've replaced cv boots, starter, KS, radiator, camshaft and crank sensors, right and left O2 sensors, lowered with MAxspeed springs with AGX, y-pipe, and K&N cone filter. Runs hella hard and smooth.

144,378 miles, still modding (Y-pipes, CAI, UDP,) soon to get VB mod, ECU upgrade, and new sensors. I wont stop until I'm done with this car. Oh until the tranny gives, then I'll just go 5spd.

220,000 miles starter replaced (lifetime autozone), tokico blues (feels slightly better than stock), and replaced the cv joints, have 2000 stock rims on my 1995 gle with all the packages except fog lights and no leather. Converted front badging to a 1997, it's very easy but still have a gap at the bottom.

Future mods will be y-pipe, hacked intake, and maybe a carbon fiber hood if I can find one cheap.

Still hate the color of my car, maroon...would rather dark blue, white, silver, or grey.

Only problem I am having now is programming the keyless entry.

I had 139,000 on my 96 last july, but then I ran it into a wall. If I still had it I'd be around 150,000 or better

132k

Starter was squealing when it was cold... Took it apart, then cleaned and regreased it with synthetic Mobil 1 grease. (around 2 years ago)

Purge valve had problems. Took it apart, cleaned and lubed it. No problem. (around 2 years ago)

Oxygen sensor threw a code. Took it off, sprayed it down as well as I could with carb cleaner... Reinstalled it, and it works fine. (around 2 years ago)

Heater resistor went out. (only speed that worked was high) Replaced about 6 months ago.

Right front wheel bearing and hub started making a horrible racket. The bearing started spinning on the hub. I replaced it about 4 months ago. No more problems.

I've gone through two sets of hood props. The second set was replaced under warranty.

That's everything.

I have 145K on mine. I got the car with about 135K on it and I have since then added a Ypipe and Intake. I think the car thanks me more and more everyday.

You can't have a GLE without leather or with foglights. You might wanna check the VIN buddy cause my sources say you have a GXE. So go back to whoever you bought it from and get your money back.

Armelius, Oil changes aren't mods but its good that your keeping up to date with maintenance. Without maintenance modding is pointless.

162,000miles. New struts and shocks and one coil pack. Another is going bad, plus there is a huge hole in my mufflers. Everthing else is original. Runs like a dream.

No mods, no time or money for them. (Married with kids sucks, at times).

Yeah, I meant GXE. What are you talking about oil changes being mods?

To the other person who asked the Tokico blues are just like stock only slightly better. No not lowered, not really interested in the lowered look. Sometimes I load up my car and a lowered car won't handle the weight.

Forgot I replaced rotor and brake caliper.

187200 Kilometres (116064 miles) on mine....so, approaching 120k.

Problem/Repair History: CV-Joints, Starter, Stabilizer links, Replaced 1 Coil, Replaced 1 Injector, Brakes and Rotors, Shift Lock Solenoid, Drivers side window motor.

Current unresolved issues: Air Bag Computer, Bad thermostat, Cylinder 5 misfire.

....and I baby her. Really, I do.

No mods. I'm too poor from all the other repairs...;-)
For me, personally, mods are a waste of time. But that is a matter of preference, budget, etc. With a little money and TLC, any Maxima can be worth the time and money to fix up real nice'n prettylike.
