Injen question
Injen question
My friend wants an injen intake for his 98 GLE that was produced 7/97. The websites he is looking at make a distinction between 94-98.5 and 98.5+. I'm assuming those dates are the production dates and the the model dates, right? His car is a 98 made in July 97 so he should get the 94-98.5 intake right. The 98.5 and up is for the later 99s, maybe the SE'Ls or something? ANyone know?
Thanks

I have a similar dilema.
I have a '97 that was manufactured in the fall of 1996 and a '99 SE-L and was wondering which Injen to get so that I could use it interchangably between two cars. Will Rd1930 work?

Well, I told my friend to order the 6/94 to 6/98 Injen Intake as listed on NopiOnline.com. He has a 98 model manufactured on 7/97. Apparently its the wrong one because his air intake temp sensor doesn't fit the intake pipe. These stupid websites are too vague in their description. Is the 6/94 to 6/98 the model year or the production year?!?! If it is the model year then why is there a 94 model listed?!? If it is production year then it should have fit my friends 98 max. I just wasted my damn time trying to install it for him. I hope he can exhange it at nopi. ONE DAMN MONTH!!!!!!
