Magnaflow soundclips anyone?

Anyone have soundclips(inside & out) of their magnaflow exhaust, preferably without any other exhaust modifications. Thanks

heres a good site with a lot of muffler comparisons:
http://www.waveperformance.com/mufflerclips/muffler.htm
Its for the 5th gens, but you should get a decent idea how they sound.

nice!! but what series magnaflow is that, cause i see that they have like a universal fit, racing, xl muffles and wide open performance. Yours sounds nice, but wich one is it?

i have magnaflow street series #14829. like i said my digital camera is broken and it is in the process of getting fixed. that's the only video clip i had before i broke my digital camera...sorrie guys.

i'm glad you guys liked it from inside. it doesn't drone at all and gives a nice growl with combination of intake and y-pipe. basically a very nice street setup.

To me, I couldnt really judge because it was mostly engine that I was hearing. The exterior sound is what IM concerned about, I dont want it to sound like a ricer BTW, I have the #14827

Sounds good. I think a Y pipe would mess up the sound though (at least from what I hear).

endus's sounds similar to my glass pack only (no muffler). Real deep between 2k-3k rpms and drops off to about stock levels. Start up is a low grumble. Nothing offensive or loud.

Me? Thanks. No Y-pipe yet, B-pipe is custom from Lou's custom exhaust in waltham, ma.

I'm def worried about how the Y-Pipe will change the sound. I just hope it doesn't get raspier...

Does anyone know how the Race Series sound? I found #14842 on the net for 70$ shipped.. I was wondering it sounded good or not..

I dont have many performave mods right now.. Magnaflow says the Race Series is for a deeper sound over the Street Series.. What would sound better for a max with no exhaust mods.. I dont want that annoying ricer sound.. I just want people to know its not stock.. I want a nice deep tone.

Also.. What size tip do i need to make it look almost stock? Should i go dual pipes?

That is a Street Series with a 7 inch tip length.

7 inch tip length with a 4 inch diameter. What do you think looks better?

I don't see how you can go dual with the 4th gen. You have a half circle cut out of the bumper for 1 pipe. Having 2 hang low would look stupid IMO

I am also looking at a Magnaflow muffler. I really like the looks of the dual tip setup on the black Max. How much lower is that hanging? I don't want it to hang too low or anything.

I think he made the exhaust port larger to fit the second tip.

Dammit...they do not seem to make a 2.5" inlet for their Street Series.
