AE headlights - can't get assembly out!

Someone help me get the headlight assembly off of the car please. Both writeups suck as far as taking them out, and even the Haynes Manual doesn't help. I can't find the 4 bolts. IF anyone can give me a verbal explanation, or pictures would be better. Thanks in advance.

Getting the headlight out.

Once the corner light is out there are two 10 mm bolts. Those must come out. There are two nuts on the inside (towards the middle of the car, next to the radiator) Then remove the bulb and place it in a spot where it won't be touched or broken. And just pull it out.

I'll check it out in a bit. Thanks a bunch.

the headlight comes off easier if you remove the grill.

Hahhahahah yes it does.

Once you remove the front grill, and the clearance light you can have easy access to the nuts. You will need to a deep well socket.

yea haynes manual sucks.....i ave it and it was a waste of money..... while you are at it paint the corners too......paint the whole thing on the inside just not the trim pars it looks muchh better like that.

Ok I did it. Just got finished at 2 AM...i took my time. When putting the lights back on, I dropped a short extension down in my engine somewhere, but it didn't fall through to the bottom...hopefully it isn't life threatening.

it prolly landed on the black plastic splash guard shielding underneath the engine.

how'd it turn out??

my buddy mendon11 is gonna be doing that tomorrow. i would but i think it would look bad with my 95's glass headlights. :(

those nuts on the other side of the radiator are a bytch to get off. There is some steel line in front of the bottom nut that makes it he!!a hard to screw off. Gald you had no problems!

IT isn't on the plastic shield, i hit it from underneath and heard no jingles...which somewhat scares me. At least my headlights look good :grinno:
