Titanium Edition?

I have a 99.5 SE-L and I have "Titanium" (a non-chromed) Maxima emblem and I don't think my 16" inch rims are as "white" as other SE-L's. They're pretty much the same color as the MAXIMA trunk emblem. Is this a special edition? Am I just crazy? Here's my logo:

I have the same thing... I thought it was just part of the special features of the SE-Limited trim for the 1999 model year.

I sold Nissans from June of 2002 thru Jan. of 2003. From what I understand they put the titanium edition on the last model run before a new body style comes out (maxima only). Most of the 2003 SE models we got in stock had the titanium package on them. Included titanium tint wheels, stiching on steering wheel and shift **** and aluminum kick plates. The polished titanium paint was really sharp with titanium package. I hope to find one used someday!

go and look at another SE's gauges and you will see the differance. SE-L's have an off-white(gunmetal) color, while SE's have a frosty white color.
