Same track right?

There seem to be real solid gains. Traping 2mph faster when it was 40 degrees warmer. Thanks for posting this info.

Cool sounds like the headers are working well.

But one question. 40 degrees in december cold?

It is 40 degrees here in RI now and i am in heaven. I can actually work on my car with just a long sleeve shirt. lol in dec it was in single digits lol.

And yes i know what heat is like last year i was at work and it was 117 inside! it was like this for weeks.

Sorry had to make fun of you for wearing a "BIG" jacket when it is 40 New Englanders will understand. Perhaps we are just jealous.

For people who live in Az 40 is like the coldest ever, and we all start wearing our BIG jackets

and our summer it stays at 100+ every day. I think 125 was the highest recorded ever, a few years ago.
Thats why we don't race during summer

I have a completely non-working MEVI on mine right now and my best trap of the night was 93.84. I can't wait to see what it'll do with a working MEVI.

Sorry for not having actual Data of the Temp back on Dec 6. All I can remember is that it was very Cold. I had a big jacket and I was still cold. Probably like 40°. If the temp was like that last Saturday, Im sure my number would have been much better, Now that Arizona heat is kicking in, I probably won't be able to race again since temps are already in the 90's
Today 98°
I will probably dyno next Saturday, just to see what I have

Conditions for 12/6/03 in Phoenix/Mesa area were 80 degrees. Here's the weather data http://www.wunderground.com/history/...lyHistory.html

I don't see much improvement at all except for trap speed. Seeing that my car typically varies over 1mph between runs, I only assume the headers may be adding 1mph or so, but nothing to the ET. Looking at his his 330', 1/8 MPH/ET, 1000', and 1/4 ET, I don't see any real change. I wish I did see some change because I want more power!!!!

My run with Cattman headers, cat-back, Injen, non-working MEVI at the same track, same night.

R/T- .348
60'- 2.385
330- 6.442
1/8- 9.788
MPH- 72.90
1000- 12.665
1/4- 15.093
MPH- 92.97

My best trap was 93.84. I think Optimus will see a much better gain with a cat-back..

I might not be an expert but I can tell you I don't wear jackets when the Temp is 80.
It probably was 80 that day but not at 7 - 8 at night. Probably at 12 am or 1 pm was 80.
Also the track is on Chandler and it usually gets colder since is in the middle of the desert and there is a pretty big lake next to the track.
Trust me Temperature Dec 6 was not 80 when I raced.

Dave
No way was it 80 degrees at the track on 12-6-03. The track is about 10 miles from the airport in the middle of nowhere and it is consistently 10 or so degrees cooler than what is registered at the airport.
