CEL .. weird

ok so not to long ago i got a cel and i pulled the code and got the crankshaft position sensor. I looked under the car and found a wire hanging, and it turned out my oil sending unit was disconected. Pluging it in, the cel disapeared, but then returned. Since the socket from the oil sending unit was bad, i replaced the whole thing with a friend, and the cel disaparead again. After 3 minutes of driving it came back and i got the 0505 code. So I cleared it again, and again i'm getting the 0505 code. what gives? anyone have any suggestions?

Can you not read? The CEL kepeps popping up on the dash and when he goes to check it it's showing 0505. He knows 0505 is ALL CLEAR, NO PROBLEMS but why is it showing up during driving? FishStick we'll figure something out. Check some harnesses, connectors and all that crap. If it doesn't help we'll just replace the CPS. It's only a few $ and it shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Call me up and we'll get cracking on it. BTW Bring my $$$ yo. I gots bills to pay.

I just got a catalog from JC whitney and they have some sweet pads for pretty cheap. Some carbon stuff.
Let me see, hmm.
Wrap-$15
seafoam-$5
300zx filter-$15
Garage rent-$200($50/hr)
Chouffer-$20
According to my math it comes out to $30 with maxima.org discount.(further discounts negotiable)
