just installed warpspeed y pipe a few days ago, does anyone besides me get a rattling noise or a buzzing noise when mashing the pedal? i also get it over bumps but thats probalby somethign else

 

It's probably hitting the center frame rail. I had to notch mine.

I know in one of my conversations with Dallas, he talked about how the heat shields can sometimes get in the way. I think he sells the hangers and special heat shilds that eliminate a lot of those noises. You could give him a call if you don't see anything obvious, and I'm sure he can help you.

also, if you do not get the y-pipe seated on the cat correctly the metal from the y-pipe vibrates on the metal of the cat. make sure the gasket is in between these two things correctly and make sure its tight.

 

mine hisses, but that's a normal trait of a y pipe.

 

Mine bangs around when I go over bumps. I noticed that there is a 'bracket' on the pipe (Stillen) that almost lines up with a hole on the engine...should this be bolted up there?
