Haft Shaft Removal

I need instructions on how to remove the driver's side haft shaft on a 95 with 5 spd no ABS or FSD. I got the passenger side replaced but I couldn't pull out the driver's side. Is there a circ clip that holds this in? If there is, how do I get to it?

Pry, pull, sweat, work harder - It'll come out, there's no tricks.

I just replace my drivers side yesterday. once you get everything else removed just grab ahold of the alxe and start pulling, A prybar is very beneficial or a slide hammer is a great help.

Thanks guys, I'll give it a try again tomorrow evening. In the mean time maybe someone else has another suggestion, I'm open to the easiest way possible.

Finally got the haft shaft replaced. It did take just a bit of pulling and it popped right out. Many thanks to njmaxeltd and shnoog, both of my haft shafts are now in new condition.

By chance did you replace the axle seals? I am having extreme difficulty putting the driver's axle seal in flush. Any tips?

Sorry, didn't do that since I didn't see any leaks around the area before disassembly. With experience from other vehicles, the best way to put in seals is to use a seal driver tool that way there's little chance of ruining them. They're cheap at Harbor Freight.
