HELP! Clunking sounds from CV joints...

I recently replaced the passenger-side drive axle when I first heard what sounded like the drive axle was falling apart. I not only heard the sound when turning, but also while going straight. I also noticed a vibration in the pedal upon acceleration. From the sounds of it, I think the inner cv joint has gone bad along w/ the outer cv joint. I replaced the faulty drive axle. Went on a road trip about 5 days ago and I noticed that I'm having more of the same problem.

I have a lifetime warranty on the part, but its just a pain in the **** to keep replacing.

Does anyone know what can cause drive axles to be damaged so quickly?
