It's a resistor, go to radio shack and buy 3 for 99 cents. It won't do much, anything actually, but why not try?

Hurry, put the max on a dyno, then when u this "big bad chip" in and installed dyno it again and kick yourself in the a$$ for buying it. Somebody please take his max away give to somebody who deserves it.

 

Don't ever buy these kinda shhit! Simple resistor with instructions that you can find online for free. Even if it's $3, it will not worth it

Dammit guys, this "mechanism" has been sold on ebay for years now - IT IS NOTHING BUT SCAM!

It does absolutely nothing to increase hp. I'm still amazed that ebay does nothing to ensure these people get busted permanently or punished for flat out stupidity and lying to the public.

Resistors are way more than 3 for $0.99 at Radioshack...they're more like $1.19 each

 

well if it was true, there would be more people buying that sh*t than the y pipe....or something like that, im preaty sure that someone bought this and it didn't work for them, so they are ashamed to post up and let everyone else know lol. their car probably blew up that sh*t so that's the reason they won't post up . First off, YES, it has been proven here on the org numerous times that IT IS BS! The question is, where were you? I've honestly seen at least 20 threads on this device in the past few months. But the threads weren't questioning the device, instead, bashing it all the way - this coming from people who bought it.

Second, how stupid can you be? If things like aftermarket air intakes give you around 5 hp gain for $50 or so, what makes you think you'll gain 20hp for $3??? WTF? BE REAL

dude 4.7K ohm (most popular for this "mod", and I use that word hestitantly here) are 10 for $0.99 ... I work there ...

And this "mod" has been proven to LOSE 5-10whp simply due to the engine knocking and retarding timing ....

I can find the website, or you could do a lil searching on yahoo for "resistor mod" + "camaro" and you'll probably find the article I'm thinking of.


End result, resistors are cheap (though the guy will even replace yours if it burns out! <~ yuck), readily available, and will hurt your performance as our engines already have fairly advanced timing, much higher and you are going to knock like all hell, then you'll get to pay a lovely $3000 to get a new engine, all by trying to add "up to 20HP" for $3, use some common sense please. If not *Smack* sell your damn car, format your harddrive, buy a shotgun from walmart, and kindly remove yourself from the human gene pool, as you are a complete failure and waste of space.
