Would you do the drop resistor mod???

I'm thinking of doing it but i'm a little scared...i will not use it during normal driving...only at the track will i turn it on actually...

Will it give me any gains??? Is it even worth doing it??? I'm unsure if the shifting is actually quicker....

Thoughts & opinions are welcome.

Thanks,
Sam

At some point I'm going to do it because I do like to hit up the track when I can. It's only good for flat out running.

so it looks like i'm going to do it from the responses so far.. but still no answer to my question. will it make my shifts quicker??? i know it prevents the slippage of the tranny so it would make sense that it does shift quicker but i just want to make sure...

I'm also thinking about doing this. I'm just a little nervous that I'll blow out the transmission.

Then again if it happens.............5-Spd time
