Angle Eye Tails...

well i had an idea while driving in the good ol' max.
Making angle eye like rings around the round part of altezzas.
i know what all of you are thinking altezzas=RICE but for us 95/95'ers there pretty much our only option. so i was thinkin jus get the gen I altezzas open em up and install the angle eye ring. it would kinds look like the gen II but without the wierd shape. Or if the angle eye ring wouldnt work maybe like jus a bunch of L.E.D.'s in a circle.
Its jus an idea and im prob. gonna try and make them. ANY help what-so-ever would be GREAT. i know the altezza's are a BIATCH to open but its been done so i just hope all goes well.
any comments welcome.

The rings better be red, otherwise you'll get a ticket before you pull out of your driveway.

I had the exact same idea a few months ago...so if anythin i get credit LOL. I also though of the ring idea, but then I realized that if you just put a ring inside the red lens in the altezzas, it won't really look like angel eyes...gonna be too blurry. On the outside, between the red lens and the clear glass part, they'll look retarted even if the ring fits. So next month I'm gonna try the LED idea

What I was thinking would be different from Gen 2's because you can still light up the entire circle with brake lights...I don't like that gen 2's only have the outline. And no altezzas look ricey after the skyline mod

LED's aren't supposed to really get hot...so if that's what you use to light up the rings you won't melt anything.
Any1 know where I can get some LED tailight conversion instructions? I've seen several people do it, but no write-ups.

yea but i dont think those would be strong enough to have a constant light all the way around the tail circles.
