hmm, ive been debating wether to sell my max or not...its a 97 SE, 98k miles, fully loaded, with BOSE, sunroof, leather, heated seats, etc...ill keep the custom painted dash and reverse indiglos in there...ill return everything else to stock...rims, HIDs, intake, Y-pipe, tails, etc...

now one other thing, ill need some minor engine work, and also the hood got keyed up($400 to repaint) and rear bumper will need repainting too...other thing, car is auto, and i want a 5spd...and dont wanna do a conversion
so should i sell it, or keep it and work with it and sink money into it? to sell or not to sell??

 

just swap it, you won't get as much as you expect to get. Plus you already got good stuff installed on it. Milage isn't bad for a maxima

 

yea i say just keep it, if u plan to mod the next max u get, its not really worth it cause u already spent all that money on this one, i would do a swap if i was in ur place. or maybe even a turbo/supercharger

 

Just get a CF hood.. the GD is going on right now for 400$ shipped, so there is no reason to get a stock hood repainted for the same price. By the time you fix everything, and sell it, you'll just loose money.

 

get yourself a CF hood and a 5spd tranny and you're in great shape.

 

I agree with JeffesonM. Those are textbook excuses for mods. I'm even tempted to key my own hood so my mom will let me get CF.

i would keep it. do a manual swap if you have the time and money.
personally i dont think its worth the effort to repair and resell.
