I have a set of 18" rims, and want to put them on my max... what mods will I need to do to the suspension to compensate for the increased wheel size?

You don't have to do anything.

Just make sure you get a low profile tire that keeps the overall diameter as close to stock as possible.

The next move would be to go with a lowered suspension since you will have a 4x4 look with the maxima. Trust us it will be bothering you until you get it done.lol

Nice Front end... where did you find that air dam you have on the front? And how far did you lower your max?

I have 19's and haven't bent one yet. Just have a couple of curb scratches. But remember people with bigger wheels always have a greater chance in messing up rims than any other person with smaller rims.

If you are talking about the stillen kit: i got it from www.stillen.com . My max is lowered conservatively with H&R/AGX. I would say exactly 1.45.

To be truthful, i go about 5-10mph over the speed limit. I usually drive like i own the road. Even faster on the highways. But when it comes to parking you need to be careful about where and how close you come to the curb.
Most of my scratches are from irresponsible turns. Most of the turns are short and i run into a curb. I just hate hearing the sound of my rim scratching against a curb.

yeah, that sucks. I always just back up and try it again. It takes less than a half a second to throw it into reverse and then back into first.
