hwlp! Which wiring harness

I have a 95 max, and I just swapped a 96 engine into it. After I did so, there are four male clips on the engine that there are no plugs on the wiring harness that plugs into them. two of the clips are located on the intake manifold and the other two are close to where the water temprature sensor is at. The car will start and idle, but when you give it gas it chokes and would not accelerate. Now it is apparent that I need a different wiring harness or change everything over to the 95. doing the harness is easier for me.

So this is what I need. I called a junkyard for the harness and they have it for $50 but they need the tag number on the harness for the new engine. That number I dont have. I took the vin number to the dealer to see if they could help but nothing. Does ayone know how I can go bout locating this particular harness. Has anyone ran into similar problems. Please help!

Your 95 might be a pre ODBII car. The ECU is different and.... not to give you bad news but your 96 engine may not run on your 95 ECU if indeed it's pre ODBII.

So I need a new computer also. But before I get that, I still need to know what harness to get. Does anyone know?

Any way you can get some pics? Hard to tell exactly where you are talking about.

Is that little plug in the fuseblock a ODB-II plug?
Check if you have one of those plugs I guess... Someone enlighten me =)

If you dont have it I guess the above statement is correct and you'll probably have to get a 96ECU/Wiring Harness...

Thats just my educated guess after reading what someone said above...
