I've heard them both and I say go greddy. It's deeper better looking and quiter.

A Greddy can be herd here... though not the best. I can tell you I have herd Matts car enough and it sounds real nice in person. http://www.afexstyle.com/maxpix/

I say go with greddy, I don't really like the way stillen sounds. I never heard the SP2, but the original SP is nice and deep, I think the SP2 should sound about the same without the drone.

That's what I just ordered a few days ago, Greddy SP2. A friend has it on his Eclipse ( different but still Greddy) and it has a nice low tone, but still deep and not ricey at all.

it's not bolt-on, but minor welding will make it work.

What exactly is required? Any regular muffler shop be able to do it? I'm just tired of waiting for the 97-99 to come out and I need a new exhaust.
Thanks

sp2 will be available for 97-99

i believe there will be no modification required to install.

no modification to install on 95-96, just bolt on.

between the two, i would choose greddy. stillen is way over priced, and not resonated. it is very loud and buzzy, it is louder than you may expect. Spaniard was running a stillen cat back, with a Y pipe, and his dyno run was deafening. i video taped it, and the video got off synch...ears hurt. for clips of his dyno run, go to www.imagestation.com, log in under "dyno_vid" with a password of "maxima." everyone i taped (except my own ) is on there, and they should be marked

p.s. get the greddy, best catback on the market (IMO). ALTHOUGH it does have a lot of drone, so beware

i owned them both. the stillen is very quiet, stillen recommended to me
the greddy for a deeper growl which i have on the car now and it sounds
wonderful. get the greddy cant go wrong. and its a nice growl not
harsh and dicomforting and ricey....

STILLEN!!!!! I got the stillen catback... with a warpspeed ypipe... it sounds incredible, and yet, its really quiet.... not to mention its perfect looking on the maxima, the tip fits perfectly with the bumper, not too big like the greddy set up(I think)....

whoa whoa whoa....how can people call stillen quiet? LIARS

stillen is straight through with NO resonators.... you cannot say that is quiet. the muffler is "straight through design." so it wouldnt technically muffle much.....how can it be quieter than the greddy? the greddy has a resonator and sounds 10 times better. the un resonated b-pipe of the stillen buzzes, and sounds ricey...definately not a quiet exhaust, especially with a y pipe. i even posted VID of a car with y pipe and full stillen....actually go listen.
