never used the green/red stuff. I just put on the HAWK pads with power slot rotors and the brakes feel great. Have it for over 400 miles , so i didn't put them to a test yet, but the brakes feels nice, don't dust much and are quiet.

mm...the Mitas (i believe thats how you spell their name o.O) has something like LIFETIME warranty on their brakes, so i'm guessing if they go bad, you can get new ones for free  check it out o.O

what you will get from midas is that they will find something else wrong to help them pay for the 'free' pads

Midas is no good. I've made the mistake of going there. You'll get cheap brake pads and pay for expensive labor. They also refuse to order or put in non-Midas parts, as they "make money on both ends" as a Midas tech told me.

Are the power slots as quiet as OEM blanks? I have drilled rotors and they are a little noisy below 40 mph...I'm considering power slots but haven't heard if they are noisy.

I have EBC Greenstuff right now, and I have been pretty pleased with them. They have lasted pretty well, and don't really squeal. However, they are not as low dust as I would like them to be. I just bought some Raybestos Quietstop from recommendations from a lot of .org members. I will be installing them as soon as these Greenstuff wear out.
**Note: The Greenstuff have been on there for almost a year, and they are only about half worn. That is good wear, because I am not too easy on the brakes.**

I also use the Green stuff...They dust a lot ,so the premium price that you pay for no dust pads doesn t justify here...I would never get any Ebc product again. For the rear I do use Akebono pads ,and they are awesome. Next time ,I ll do Akebono all around. No dust ,and the stopping power is good.

Well, that is fine about you liking the Akebono, but you cannot judge a pad for low dust or braking power on the rear of the car.....that is unless you are driving around at like 60 in reverse and using the brakes that way.

The weight of the car is almost all on the front, that is why your front pads wear more and front wheels get more dust all the time.

I do agree with astil though in that EBC was expensive and they didn't live up to what they said. They claimed to be very very very low dusting brakes(with something like Kevlar in them). They are not low dusting. They do perform well though. They cannot be dissed for that. They are also long lasting like I said before.

I think that can happen with any pads. I don't know. I am going to try them out because I got so many recommendations for them a while back.
