[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][SIZE=3][COLOR=Sienna]My question is reguarding a Infinity I30 hood. I was wondering what mod's if any are need to use the Infinity one piece hood & grill on a 1998 Maxima SE? Is it even possible? My friends & I do alot of paint & body work & I was wondering if this is a possible option for my 98 Max. I would like to get some good advice before I just go out & purchase the hood. I really think that this look is much classier! I've heard that the only body panels that are common if the roof & doors, but there has to be a way to mix & match these vehicles. Any info would be helpful thanks!

 

no, it will not directly fit. But since you said you do body work it is "possible". I bet it would fit width wise, but getting the maxima to accept the hood/grille combo might be difficult.

 

I thought that the width & fender alignment would be ok, but I was just wondering about the hood latch & the headlights. I wouldn't mind if the hood slightly overlapped the headlights. I think it would even help the aggresiveness of the front end. Do you know if the I30 hood has a pull type safety latch that is located in the grill or is it similar to the Max?
