96 auto trade for 97 5spd?????
This lexus dealership downtown has a 97 5spd for sale. I caould probably get an even trade or only have to pay a couple thousand more for it. What should I do. It's a white SE with low miles and in great condition. The only thing is that I don't have all of my stock parts to put back on my max and I have done a lot to it. I traded my stock cat for Zam's RT cat and I left my stock intake assembly back in CO w/my grandparents. What to do????
By the way, my wife can't drive stick..... She's against it.

Keep what you got...All those mods...And you already know what you have....You maybe getting someone else's problems...I had a 95se 5sd for about 2weeks and it was fun for about a week and a half...Now I drive a 97se auto, and would never ever think about going back to a 5sd...Only 5sp I would have is something like a Cobra or Vette or something...And then I think I would have to think about it...
I had a 96 5-speed, when some idiot decided he wanted to make a U-turn in the middle of the Blvd, from the right lane. Good brakes, but not that good. Anyway, I have a 97 auto now, but that's only because I couldn't find another 5 speed and insurance only covered a rental for a month. God I hated that rental car... Anyway, if your used to an auto, a stick might seem like a pain for a long time, but a 5 speed is the way to go for the fun/speed factor. I manualy shift my auto all the time, trying to get back some memories...JUGSMAX is right though, you do have a lot of mods, so much to consider, so little time...
