Maxima stalling out helppppppppppp!

I dont know why but ever since my O'2 sensors went bad my car has been giving me a lil shake at idle like its gonna turn off, the car doesnt actually turn off it just drops the rpm needle just about to 500. It would also hesitate when im at WOT at around 4-5000 rpm. I replaced my O'2 sensors right away and the problem kept on. My car is not throwing any codes, so i dont understand. Could a dirty fuel filter make it do that. I know if it was a misfire i would get a code for a coilpack. My uncle used to own my maxima so it was very well taken care of. He had done a full tune up about a year ago. Please let me know if it could be the fuel filter or anything else but im really desperate at this point. Thanks.......

Mine does the same thing but it hasn't done it since I changed my pcv valve/fuel filter and cleaned the iacv.... so you could try that before you take any drastic measures... it will only cost you like $15..

I would also recommend cleaning the throttle body.

The jury's still out on my fix as I just had this happen. Two weeks ago, would warm car up in the morning. In about 10 minutes, would go back outside and the car had died; smell of gas fumes in the air. Hard to crank but would eventually. Anyway noticed that coming home each afternoon, about 10 minutes into the trip, car would shake, shudder and tac would go up and down. Sometimes it would cut out. Finally this past Monday, 10 minutes into my morning drive, it did the same thing except this time it threw a code that lit the Check engine light. Code of 34 and 98. The 34 is the knock sensor which seems to be common and doesn't throw the light. The other was the Coolant temp sensor (29.99 at Napa). Skeptical as I was, I replaced it last night and this morning, it did fine coming into work; we'll see about the trip home this afternoon.

That sounds like more problems than buddy up there has... His car doesn't turn off just low idle... But you never know, gotta take everything into account and do the process of elimination to fix something :P

pcv valve is on the intake manifold, its just a little plastic valve with something inside that jiggles, there was a thread about the pcv a while ago...

They only cost $3 so...
