MY smoke cefiros with jdm bumpers

I just installed these a week ago and was finally able to take some pics.
Overall I'm very happy with them. The only I don't care for is that fact that they are aftermarket so the light output kind of sucks. But I'm going to see if I can maybe use some washers or something to fix that. Anyway here are a few pics.

They match your smoked Cefiro lights, which look very nice with the white BTW.

The bumper lights don't look like they would cut signal light by too much, but you would know.

No, the bumpers are just fine. I mean the actual headlight. It shines the light very bright on the ground for about 25-30' in front of me (better than the stock headlights), but after that visiblity is kind of iffy. The stock and even the OEM cefiros aren't as bright but they shine the light much further, probably about 50'. Around town it's ok but if I were to go somewhere I didn't know where I was going it might be a little difficult. I want to take the car to a really dark part of town and see how well I can see at night. That will be the true test

I was thinking about taking off my mesh grill and going back to the stock black. It will probably help accent the lights a little more also.

No I didn't do anything to the headlights. They came that dark. They look even nicer in person. I'm thinking about maybe tinting my foglights a little and then smoking the upper half of my stock tails. I've been trying to get someone to make some red/clears for 95/96 people but he won't respond to my emails for anything.

I'll try and take some tonight. My camera doesn't handle night time pics very well. Any movement what so ever and it blurrs. So I'll see what I can do. Hopefully I'll have some time.

Those lamps look sweet i would like to have a pair of these. Is there any water leakage between the cefiros and the frame?

There is no water leakage and yes there is a gap but you would never notice from far away. Only when you're inspecting them. It's not so much the light output but rather where the light is scattered to on the ground.

I am not feelin' the mesh grill either, but all those lights look pretty good. Looks clean on a white max. Kinda looks like the new Sentra SE-R Spec-V front.

Well, yeah. I mean i know the actual output is the same, just the sucky a$$ beam pattern which is already bad enough...

Here is a some pic of what I see from inside the car.
You can see that what is right in front of me is VERY bright (for a regular headlight) but then after that it's just scattered because you can see the stop sign and what not. I enjoy the headlights I'm going to see if I can make an adjustment though.

No offence but the fitment looks like garbage IMHO. The gaps are a HUGE turn off. If they fit OEM ish then they'd be alright. I think you just need to reaim the headlights up and you should be better. That's quite a concentration of light towards the ground.

i love the look man. keep it up. i did the same thing to my grill too. did you use "gutter guard" from home depot, or the custommaxima grill insets.

The fitment is obviously not perfect because it's not made for our cars specifically, but I think they look awesome so it's worth it to me. Other people are more picky about those things so I would definitely not recommend them if you have a problem with those kind of issues. I'm going to try and aim them up a little. Hopefully it will come out better. My grill was from some company that sells it, but it's basically gutter guard. Just cut it to make it fit right.

hey whats up!! my buddy and i helped me install the headlights last week. and they look awesome!!! The Beam Patteren is scattered because duh!!! no projectors!!! i got the original not the smoked heads. my stock fog lights help with seeing the road a lot more than the h4 bulb but the h4 bulb up close is much better than the 9004. i had 2 problems. 1 was Condensation inside the headlight and 2 was the corner gaps!!! arg. i just went to Menards to get some weather stripping and it worked out great. just need to tweak it so it looks perfect. anyone know how to get rid of water spots inside a headlight with out opening them up?

thanks

Lights look nice but the grills make it look Rice at its fullest :-) Take the grills off and put some OEMs back on and you are good to go!

Hmm, and what makes that rice? Because you say so? Why dont you tell all the owners of R versions of jags which come with that mesh grille, or the new CTS-V which has that same style mesh grille that their car is rice.

Rice is definately a term that gets thrown around WAY to much.

Its True. your car totaly has a Sentra thing going on.
I don't know, but I think the stream line on the cornere where the seperation used to be, doesn't match up with the bodies stream line.

hey man nice lights. Good job with the front-end, i must say.
But one thing, how come your passenger side headlight seems crooked?

Is it supposed to be like that? Is there a way to fix it? I'm planning to get Cefiro headlights too so i was just wondering. In my opinion, I think you should get the 97-99 grille. Something like this:

just throwing some suggestions. But again, good job

The grill looks just fine, just paint the actual mesh a flat black and itll look cleaner. If you decide with the 97-99 grill, get a black SE grill as itll flow with the headlights better.
