y pipe dyno plots
well with the new gd starting up my plans for getting a y are finally coming together. and i know that i should expect around a 15 hp gain to the wheels but my friends refuse to believe i can get that much from a $160 mod. specially when one of them is about to put on a greddy evo catback that cost over $500 and hes going to get about 5 horses. so can someone show me a dyno plot so that i can shut them up.

The BLUE line is with the Budget y-pipe added to the above. (In total a Stillen Cone intake, y-pipe, and 17" Motegi rims weighing 47 lbs, vs stock at 40lbs) The run was done in June of 2002 with just over 238,000 KM. The correction factor is 1.02 due to the temperature of 90.52°F, and the barometric pressure of 29.37. This run is a 4th gear roll on.

The only reason I bring this up is because there are so many variables between the 2 dyno sessions so the #s could be better or they could definitely be worse.
