2001 pathfinder throttle bodies

I was wondering...Are there any drawbacks to this mod? would it prevent you from passing smog? is it overly harsh on the tranny?

I was interested in this but i didnt know if it was going to cause any problems...

ANY info would be helpfull on this

It's not known for sure because there are no before and after dynos for this mod on a 4th gen. There "should" be some gains, although nothing huge on an NA maxima. Other NA cars see some gains and I believe a 3rd gen saw 6hp and a few lbs of with just a ported stock TB. There is only one NA max that I know of who has the PF TB.

The TB on a max is the smallest part of the intake system. The MAF is 70mm and the TB is 60mm. The opening of the intake manifold will need to be ported to match.

Then why don't you do the project, take pics, then make a write up and report back.
