Well not really a lift kit but going from my current setup, sure is a lift kit.
Anyway I decided to give this suspension a chance since I will be getting a body kit soon and don't want to scrape all over. I was thinking on H&R's but I wanted to try the Tein H techs since I've never seen a car with them or ride a car that has them. Will see how this go.

nice combo, I was expecting the H Techs to be softer, but it still retains good ride quality..although I am running on stock struts...btw are those Illumina's that you'll be matching them with?

I would post pics but I don't have a digital camera...but it came out to be a 3 finger gap all around. It isn't too noticeable but then I don't wanna be scraping every bump in the road

They ride nice, but the drop is not too low. They are not much more stiff than the OEM SE ride, but the handling is beter in turns and on ramps

are those hp's or illuminas? whats the drop on h techs, about 1.5???

They are illuminas and the Htechs are supposed to give a 1.6 on the front and 1.2 on the rear. I really don't know how they will look, so I really hope they are even. I don't want to cut the coils.

IMO it's a really even drop, it isn't that low but subtle enough for Maxima owners to notice, so you shouldn't have to worry about cutting springs...besides TEIN's a really truthworthy company

I've had my illuminas and tein htechs for about 6 weeks now and I love them:

The drop actually ended up being about 1.8 in the front and about 1.4 in the back. It's perfect if you asked me. If it were any lower in the front it would look silly(more gap on the sides of the wheels than on the top), and any lower in the back and it would be kind of saggy.

If I set the illuminas on 2 front and 3 in the rear it rides just a hair stiffer than my stock SE suspension, but take them to 4/5 and

That's exactly why I will love the H&R's when I get them. I plan on pairing them up with tokico illuminas. It all depends on the size of rims you get.

IMO, eibach springs for instance give too low of a drop on stock rims, but look good with 17" or 18" wheels. I plan on keeping my stock 16" SE rims, so I think H&R's are best for that because the drop is not too low nor too high.
