I was browsing ebay for some parts for my max, when I ran into this item
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting
this is when my BS alarm went off,
I figure more than a chip would be needed to add 20HP! plus it seems weird for such an item to be selling for $5 (including shipping) that adds more HP, than adding a Y-pipe, B pipe and exhaust.
just looking for some feedback on this item.

I would suggest you upgrade your transmission first. That thing usually gives you way more HP than what they advertise
Making sure that the Headlight fluid is full, along with routine oiling of the piston cylinders really improves performance. The compatible mod for these tasks, should be the blow-off valve recording.

And don't forget your bumper gaskets. headlight fluid and new bumper gaskets can do crazy things to your top end.
no $6 stickers don't do that...you have to get the NOS stickers to give you 20 hp.
No but seriously, if you want alot of hp try to reroute your stereo wires to your headlights. And the sound will bump your car past the 1/4 in about 10 flat. Go for it!
