Need Suspension

My back end jumps like crazy if i go over any bump...My dad told me that i have 1 month to buy new suspension cause if i dont i will start messing up my frame. ...I was thinking of Tokico HP with springs, KYB AGX's with springs, or tokico illumina with springs....Im kinda on a budget so please give me some advice about your personal experience with these shocks....Any advice will help...

Thanks...

If you want a comfortable ride. Do not go with the AGX's. If you cannot get what you really want at this time, a spring and strut combo, get the struts you really want. Later when you have additional money at your disposal you can get the springs you wanted.

Are you sure you need suspension work. Over inflated tires will cause the back end of the car to "jump" when hitting bumps.

If you have the cash ... TEIN makes one of the best complete coil-over kits around. This one for the 95-99 Max is under $900.

My rear shocks are defiantly out...Even if they were inflated to much they still wouldn’t bounce like my car does.... I’m not into auto crossing so I don’t need anything that is to stiff for handling.... I just want a setup that is better than stock but still can handle if you needed it to. Also they need to be reliable...

Any advice on a good setup will be appreciated

I know that many have the H&R with KYB Gr-2 and love it.

I have Suspension Techniques springs with the Gr-2s - firm ride and excellent performance.

FYI the ST springs are stiffer then the H&R

Tokico HP's (Blue) are considered as replacement for stock shocks, they are not recommended to be paired with any springs that gonna lower your car,

There are multiple other threads on this exact topic.

DZ springs are largely untested because other springs are available at that price, and those other models have been recommended for use by other members. Maxspeeds are similar in price and are reputable. Several users have tried DZ and ST springs, but I know of only a few who kept the DZ springs.

Please look over other threads before starting one that is similar to pre-existing threads.
