For the past 2 weeks. when i start my car in the morning there is a loud squeky sound that comes from the car for a few seconds. It only goes away after a while> does anyone know what it is?

 

could be your belts..

or

could be your starter sticking... is it more of a winding sound, or a squeal?

 

try tightening your serp belt

 

i have the same problem.. i noticed when my engine is cold after sitting for hrs.. i have yet to find out what is the problem.

 

it's your belts. had the same problem about a month ago changed belts a little tighting and the squel is gone.

 

yeah, i just did mine. if you dont want to change them, you can tighten your serp belt without even getting under your car. its a little tight loosening the pully but you can do it from above. but i would change it if you can. the serp belt can be done in about 15 minutes. power steering belt is a hassle though, took me a bit to get that done.

If its a rattle type noise then its probably your timing chain...

 

its a really loud squeeling noise like a whistle...
