Brake Problem: Negligence (Mine)

Hello folks...

Big trouble here: I live in Brazil.. no Nissan parts available.. SO>.. I had this brake fluid leak for almost 1 year.. Just filled the thing up with fluid..every now and then ... and kept going. The leak source was the rear left brake caliper.

Stopped using the car for about 4 months. Last week, I started it up and noticed that the fluid level was intact (full), but.. no brake pressure at all.. The brake pedal now goes all the way down

What else could be broken now ? Already ordered the caliper Kit...

Regards,

BrazilianMax

it would be your master cylinder or your brake booster...likely the cylinder, but I'd have someone check it out.

okay i just fix my max over the weekend cause it had the same issue. First of all if you are having a leak in the rear it's prolly your caliber. I replaced both Master Cyliner, and rear caliber only to find out. I only need to change replace the caliber.

Well i bought the caliper for 175 but , with the core you get 77 bucks back

and The master cyl was 110 with a 40 return. So i paid outta pocket like 168 total.
