UPS brought me gifts!!!

Well I finally got some money together and purchased Eibach springs and Tokico Illuminas. Took me awhile (high school student) but I got them. Now I just have to get them installed! It's my frist real mod other than intake, and lights. I hate the body roll in our car so I wanted to get the suspension first, I love taking corners. Here's some pics, and I threw in some of my car, because I don't think I've ever posted my car on here before. Tell me what you think. And sorry about the dirty car. Thanks

I've always liked the factory spoiler on white Maximas. Nothing beats a clean car.

looking good man! can't wait til i can afford to drop my car...why don't you find someone local who will install them for you for less than a mechanic, or a buddy to help?

Yeah, my dad, uncle, and I are going to attempt to install them. I have new brake pads and rotors waiting to be installed too. But the large nut in the center of the rotor is stuck on. So we are going to have to get a big socket set or something. We broke 2 wrenches trying to get it off. It was a pain so we just put the wheel back on and gave up for the day. So we're gonna try to get the struts, springs, pads, and rotors all on in one day. We'll see how that goes.

And I'm driving around today, and I'm asking myself if I'll really like my car lower. The roads where I live are horrible, am I going to have a tough time driving around? There are huge potholes and it seems like every road is crap. Do any of you guys regret lowering your car?

Yeah I decided not to lower, just because id have a tougher time getting on lifts, etc. Plus winter with lowering springs = hell around here.

I'm lowered on Maxspeeds (same drop, not as stiff as Eibachs) and I live around really horrible roads. I do my best to avoid them and take alternate routes when possible, but most of the time you just have to drive over them. The ride will become more harsh, though since you have Illuminas you probably won't have to worry about them blowing. Even with a rough ride, I am still glad I lowered. The handling and looks make up for the harsh ride in my opinion (the opinion of another high school student).

Hope you like it.

I'd feel weird going to a meet. HEH I don't know enough about cars and I think I would feel out of place with the older people. But maybe, I really want to go, but I just haven't gone to one yet. Once I go to college in Boston, hopefully I'll get to know more people with maximas. Right now, I'm alone here in Hanson, MA.

I have one more question, I'm going to try to install them tonight and tomorrow, but I need to know everything I'll need. I'm going to pick up some dust boots from somewhere, is there anything else that I'll need to get? And does places like autozone and stuff carry dustboots?
