Idling Problem

I have a 99' with A/T, What would cause the idle to bounce around at 500-1000 rpms (dips and stays at 500 rpms) when coming to a stop? And it also sits and idles at 500 rpms and the whole car vibrates, but only when in drive or rev (under load) and stops doing this when put in to nuetral or park? And seems to do this more when the car is hot not cold? Oh yeah no check engine or trans lights. Thanks

Is the needle stable at 500 or does it hop around. If it hops check you idle air sensor. HAve you tried cleaning your throttle body?

It drops to about 500 then goes to 1000 then drops to 500 and usually stays there (when under load; in drive or rev) maybe tranny hanging up?

Ok here we go

TPS= throttle positioning sensor

More info please. when I say hopping around I mean 500, 600, 550, 650, 500...you get the idea. If it does test/replace the IAC Have you cleaned your Throttle body? Do you have a K&n type filter?

y-pipe...if it does this after you install a y-pipe you have most likely damaged an O2 sensor.
