I have the older auto climate control unit now, but want to install the later looking version. What's involved? Are the harnesses the same? I know that some members have done this, so I'd like some feedback.

Also, what's involved in getting the AMB to work? I know of at least one member that did this.

the system is totaly different for the 98-99's, so just swaping the controls will not do it. As for the AMB button the mod only works for 98's and 99's came with them.

 

yes this will be a mod that costs a he11 of a lot more than its worth...dont bother unless youre looking to redo all the wiring and AC controls
