My new test intake setup, tell me what you think

Ok guys i was bored and thought about this from another post. I used my midpipe with the stock airbox and i didnt connect that boost tube thing.I also have a k&n filter.

Maybe its just me but the car seems much more responsive. Not as good in the 6000 rpm rage but the motors seems like it revs quicker. What do you guys think.

( flame on this is just a fun test setup cause i was bored today)

If you must keep your stock airbox then at least swiss cheese the bottom of it for more airflow.

The gain you are feeling is all in your head...the Frankencar works LOADS better with more air.

Does it still rumble/roar? I would assume so since you still got rid of all the baffles etc with the midpipe

sounds pritty quiet compared to the pop charger, kinda like a inline v6 beemer with a intake .

Motor realy revs much quicker, honestly. The is no half second gap from when i push the throttle. It still has a nice growel cause i dont have that tube thing conected.

I think im keeping it for a while tho, its realy nice to hear the pop of my exhaust at 6k

If any of you guys are bored try it.

Looks different other than an air intake...time to tear a hole through the bottom of it.

You got to read the articles about how NA cars get more low/midrange HP with the resonator. Later on today I'll be putting the rest of my stock setup back on and I already hacked the bottom box.

Try using your resonator and see how you think the car feels.
