APEXi S AFC II setup problem

I bought apexi s-afc II went to professional mechanic to install it but i have problem to set it up. It's about knocking signal. When I do initial setup it doesn't read no signal from knocking. And after that Apexi doesn't read proper RPM from the car. What should I do. Could it be that the knocking sensor is dead?

I don't believe they will give us correct knock sensor readings, I think they will give some reading for knock but it's meaningless. I am pretty sure about this, but please correct me if I am wrong.

nomatter what its gonna be incorrect dont worry about it. you shouldnt even have it connected. it only works for obd 1 knock sensors.

It will give a reading if its hooked up properly.

The reading is absolutely unuseable because there is no logical knock count or reading. It appears to just start off at one level and the longer the car is running the higher it gets. There is absolutely no correlation between throttle opening or load to the reading.

From all I have learned it will only read properly on OBDI vehicles and was designed around the Honda setup.(They are the most popular) All serious Honda racers convert back to the OBDI computer setup in their later model cars because the engines were made in both configurations (OBD1 and OBDII) unlike the Maxima which swapped to OBDII in 95 the same time as the 4th Gen engine was released.
