Electrical Problem

Ok here is my situation. My car had been sitting for about 2 years and when I got home to it last week I started it up and the power windows dont work, the radio dont work, the console lights dont work that light up the shifter (its automatic) and the clock. I have a 96 GXE. I tried switching out the relays under the dash (thanks matthel) but that only got my AC and power locks working. Im not sure what would make such isolated things not work. Has this happen to anyone or seen this happen, oh and I checked all the fuses from top to bottom both under the hood and under the dash so dont say that either, thanks

Hmm since you said you changed the relays and some problems were fixed I'd bet its more of the relays or fuses. Check all in car and in engine fuses. Also if your car has been sitting outside for a while it could be your contact along the battery cables that feed those units. Try looksi in to where your relays plug to check for corrosion

have you checked the lights themselves and the dimmer switch? may sound like a dumb question, but sometimes people mistakingly forget the dimmer switch is off or did it by accident.

howcome you haven't touched your max in that long?!? been away?
