check engine light ON after INTAKE installation! HELP!

check engine light ON after INTAKE installation! HELP!

i just installed my hybrid intake and when i went to start up my car ...my check engine light went on...what is goin on?? is there anything i can do to fix that?

It's a 99% chance you forgot to plug one of your sensors back in.

I had the same problem... I forgot a hose and thats why it was on i just put the hose back on and reset the ECU... Check for hoses that u missed or sensors then reset the computer...

how did u reset ur ecu.....disconnect ur battery?

properly resetting the ecu takes less time than disconnecting and connecting the battery.

Its just clockwise, 2 seconds, counterclock, back to clockwise, 2 seconds, counter clock.

in 10 seconds u can reset the ecu.

The same thing happened to me.....i went over all connections and disconnected the battery for 30 min. But after all that it was still on.....after you drive for a while, it will turn off. That's what it did with me.
