Hey guys, here's my question...

My cruise control has a really weird feel to it. When I set it on the freeway at 120kph or so, it always seem to be on or off the gas, never coasting smoothly. It will dip to 117 then step on the gas back to 121 or so, then it will slow and go back.. so on so forth. It's not abrupt but it's really annoying... Is there anything I can do about it or do they all do this ??

Look at your vaccum lines if they are not broke, twist or not connected properly.

 

I'd check the throttle cable for the cruise control. See if it's loose.

 

Yep, the cruise control and the throttle cable are both a bit loose, how much play do we want ? I know how to adjust it, it just dont want it to keep the throttle from coming back all the way... ?

from what i understood of course cruise control is going to be slightly variable... it is supposed to be that way..
