Giving an idea of where exactly in the engine this is, might help you with responses. A little difficult to determine in your current pic, my guess is its somewheres close to your manifold, but maybe its just me. In either event, I doubt I could help with an answer.

its just an electrical plug right? and you plugged it back in when you were done replacing your knock sensor right? in that case it shouldn't matter at all

yeah, when looking at the engine bay, it's on the right side of the manifold and the left side of the intake. It's in the way of the KS if you were u put ur hand in there. So i just unplugged it. Maybe my unplugging cause the RPM to idle so low But if anyone can identify this plug, then maybe it'd be helpful. Thanks.

most of us had unplugged that wire to get to the KS. if u have it plugged in, in no way does this involve any idle issues i would think, i had left it unplugged cause i forgot to plug it in after the KS, nothing happened, just make sure it is plugged in..

okay so if it didn't happen to you then i guess that's not something i have to worry about. Maybe it's something simple such as, "my car's just old".
