code 1302 and MEVI

Both my friend and I are getting a code 1302 (Manifold absolute pressure solenoid or sensor circuit fault). We both have MEVI but have never received the code before and we have had our MEVI's for some time. I already tried replacing my MAP solenoid with a spare new one I had laying around and I still got the code

What might cause this code? Also I am having trouble locating the MAP sensor. Do you know where it is? I think it is behind the throttle body but I can't get to it easily. Thanks for your help.

Make sure those hoses for the sensor didn't pop loose from the sensor. It happened to me and I couldn't find where that leak was. Took it to the dealer, and they found it.

You have a vaccume hose disconnected some where. I just had this code after doing my plenum and rear valve cover gaskets. The engine even idled a little funny. Trace all of your vaccume hoses that would connect to the MEVI.

Thanks for the input. I will try looking for a leak when I get back from a business trip I am going on tomorrow. Guess it'll have to wait for two weeks.
