i just got a warpspeed y put on my car, and there is alot of ratting sounds like it is agoinst my shifter. Sometimes it gets real loud. HAve you ever had htis porblem? What can i do to fix it? thanks you

you need to bend back your heatsheild. It almost touches the y-pipe at one point and thats what cause the rattling. Fixed the problem for me.

 

I think this question has been asked this past month at least more than 5times. The majority of people say there is a bracket holding the cat and that it cause the noise, vibration. Some say its possibly the heatshield. My friend has the same noise which I will be checking out tommorow one final time. Got a new heavy duty jack to test out

 

there is a bracket around the stock cat convertor, you need to take that off and bolt the cat on there using some kind of clamps. this solves the problem

Where is this heat sheild? and how do you bend it? I have prom tonight and i do not want a creeky, rattling car.

Justin: i have not drove it much to find out. i drove it one the highway after i got it on and that was about it, the ecu has not fully ajusted

bruce: Jaime installed it for me. you told me to go to him for stuff, so i took your word. he was a cool as hell. i just feel bad cause i messed up on the parts i had to buy and we had to go out and get some stuff, and i forgot my wallet. I paid him back but i just hope i did not burden him!
