Recurrent Rear O2 sensor problem

This problem first started after I replaced my cat converter with the carsound cat. A few days later my ECU light came on and it was diagnosed as 0707, rear O2 sensor. I ordered the OEM one, a Walker brand, from oxygensensor.com. It worked fine for four to five days then the light came back on with the same code. They sent me another one. This one lasted for a month then the light came back on. I noticed that even when I reseted the ECU to get rid of the light after the code was diagnosed, the light would come back on if I went WOT on the highway at certain times. Sould I go with a dfferent brand of O2 sensor? Where would be a good place one buy one from at a cheap price? Jr Nissan? Has anyone had problems like this before? Thanks in advance.

I just replaced my entire exhaust system about a month and a half ago. I used a carsound cat and all new o2 sensors. Right before the installation, I pulled the codes and had the rear heated o2 sensor code. I reset the ecu and never had a problem since. I got my rear o2 sensor from www.autopartsworld.com for 99 bucks, the brand was NTK (NGK). Good luck!

I called up oxygensensors.com, and it turns out that Walker is an NTK(NGK) brand. Walker just bought the NTK snesors and renamed them. The guy said it might be the carsound cat. This is the thrid sensor that I've burnt, and none of this happened until I changed my stock cat, which had a hole in it, to a carsound. The muffler shop was asking $300 for an OEM cat. I got the carsound for like $93.

I've had that same engine code since I replaced my cat with a straight pipe. I've never had the money to experiment with changing the O2 sensor. So It's still on. Not sure if buying the sensor would be worth it or just wasting money for the same thing to happen. Opinions?

It seems as if some people have problems with it and some people don't...I guess if you've tinkered around with it enuf...just get the o2 simulator to make the brain think everything's ok.

Is this safe for the engine or the ECU? Where would I get the simulator from?
