timing chain noise?

timing chain noise?
hello,
ok heres the problem:
Just had an oil leak fixed, the mechanic replaced some seals including the timing chain seal, when i first start my car and put it on drive i get this thumping like noise (thump, thump, thump) coming from the timing chain part of the car, after i drive it for like a minute or 2 the sound goes away and stays away until i park the car and let it sit for a while. I dont hear this sound when i first start the car and the car is on park. Any help would be great! thanks
