i was wondering if this was true, i remember reading somwhere a while back that if you take out the crank and rods from a 300zx VG30 and fit them into the VQ30 it will become a 3.4 liter. i was wondering if anyone of you could confirm this, or if u have the 2 cranks layign around and could measure this.

 

Doubt it since they are completly different engines. Your better off using the crankshafts and rods from the VQ35 and making a 3.3L.

 

I don't know the answer to your specific question, I would highly doubt it if I were to guess, but those same parts from the VQ35 bolt into a VQ30 and make a 3.3L with no issues at all.
