Stock exhaust resonator...

Anyone taken theirs off and replaced it w/ 2.25" straight pipe? How much louder is it? Do you regret it?

I did, I have no resonator and 2.5" all the way back to a flowmaster, I also have a Cattman Y pipe. At idle, it gives the sweetest burble. But on the highway it drones, and when you floor it, it sounds like you've unleashed a V8 Monster.

Its LOUD. But I dont regret it.

I took the resonator off when i had my ractive muffler .It sounded somewhat like a mustang when i added a wsp y pipe .I ended up changing the muffler to a stillen muffler and the sound got a little quieter . I love it

Ive got 2.5" exhaust custom made, no resonator w/ a Dynomax muffler. It really rumbles, but when the engine is cold its very raspy, and when its all warmed up, 5-6.5k rpm its raspy and buzzy. I regret not getting a resonator...... But only when the engine is cold and when im above 5000rpm
