so this past spring break i drove my truck to FL from OH to check out some skirts...come back to find that my front bumper had been hit 3 times!!!!!!! each corner had been scratched and it looks like somebody w/ a truck or SUV backed into me and really messed up the plastic in front of the grill. easy way to take of a front bumper? never tried it on this car, i know on my truck it is held on by 4 bolts that i can reach from the ground.
also looking for a good condition used black front bumper off a 97 if you know anywhere close to Ohio State!!

midnight auto, you cant beat their prices. youd have to have some ***** to be out there in someones driveway long enough to get a bumper off

....and to be fair...the cost of something new.....

 

I've searched many web sites and found a new front bumper to run around $300 dollars.

If you have the Haynes Manual they show how to take off the front bumper, I just happend to read that today when flipping throught the book.

if you want to sites to where you can get a new bumper I can post it, but if the e-bay one is is as good as condition, would save you money to go with the ebay, but of course its your choice

they have a 97 bumper for about $96 ( raw ) or $78 ( primed ), may be the same amount as ebay.

yeah im scared to park here on campus too--i park on blake ave on north campus and i always see mirrors bashed off. my roommate and i both have black 4th gens so we tend to stand out among all of the beaters and i have a feeling somehting not good is gonna happen soon
