cel question

i know this has been asked a thousand times but ive got a differnt twist to it. car thew a CEL today no idea why at all. went to a few places and i was told that my 95 has a differnt input then the 96 and up and no one had the computer to check the ECU. has anyone else had this problem?

also Chirs(TwoTone) told me about a self diagnostic system by turning the ecu screw? has anyone else heard about this and if so how do it?

thanks
~Craig
