I did a compression test just now, and was wondering what if the #'s I got are good.

Here are the amounts I got,

not sure what firing order they are but,

1st piston--- 190 psi
2nd piston--- 185 psi
3rd piston--- 185 psi
4th piston--- 180 psi
5th piston--- 185 psi
6th piston--- 190 psi

Please respond and let me know if these are typical #'s.

Looks good to me. I'm getting higher than normal reading because of carbon build ups. I need to do those B&G induction cleaning

 

Did mine last weekend, car has 56k miles.
All cylinders were right around 180.

 

did you guys take out all of the coils and plugs, then perform the test ??

Explain how you did it ??
