went to pull codes from ECU, not idle is not right
i had a sus****ion that my KS was bad so i went to check the ECU for the KS code, well nothing came up, but about a few hours later when i went out, my car was idleing at 300rpm (it normally idles between 600-650). i figured that maybe the screw on the side of the ECU had something to do with so i went and turned the screw all the way to the left, i went back out again and the car was now idleing at 900rpm. after driving around for about 90 minutes, it went back down to about 650, but im still not perfectly happy with it. does that screw have any effect on the cars idle? i dont see how it could, but it was the only thing i touched. i also had to push the gas pedal down slightly a few times to get to the screw, could i have flooded the engine and mess up the idle that way? thanks for the help.
basically you didn't reset your ECU all the way after you pull the code, cuz u didn't turn it counter clock-wise (left) after you pull the code. but since u just did that, ur ECU is now reset.

so everytime you go to pull codes form an ecu, when your done you have to leave the screw all the way to the right?
is this also how you reset the ecu after you install new mods like a y-pipe? or do you do that by disconnecting the battery?
