Easy Throttle Question

I want to tighten up my throttle, make it a little more punchy. Which one is the normal accelerator and which one is the cruise control? I forget

What are the advantages/disadvantages of tightening the throttle cable?

No disadvantages as long as you don't over do it. You're just putting it back to factory spec by removing the slack (caused by cable stretch I assume?).

PoePoe is correct. The outside line runs to the black circular thing mounted on the fire wall. I believe this is a vacum controlled unit because there is not wire going into it; only a tube.
