where to buy exhaust wrap for y-pipe?

i just bought my y-pipe and im waitin for it to get to my house....is it neccesary to wrap the pipe with exhuast wrap? what does the wrap do? and where/how much does this stuff cost?

it is not nessicary at all. Some say it will give you alittlre more power. Just alittle. Becuase it keep sthe heat and in and creates better flow inside the pipe.

i forgot the site where you could get ti from, but you could do a bunch of it for maybe about $30

the only reason i bought/use some is for the flex section because mine hisses, so i used the wrap to quiet that down. i bought 15' from a local performance shop. i know it'll probably lead to rusting faster, but if i still own the car or pipe at that time, i'll just get a lined flex section installed for ~$30.

its not for power dummies... more underhood tempatures. Thats the main reason to get em.
